Choose Image Groups ARTstor, Local images or PowerPoint Presentation icons from the Image Palette workspace toolbar, by right-clicking, or from the Insert menu bar item.
Important: Deleting images from the Image Palette workspace will also delete them from the presentation slides in which they appear.
Use the viewer to enlarge images. Double-click on a thumbnail, or click on the View Image Palette Presentation icon (shaded square with small green arrow) from the Image Palette toolbar, or right click or go to the View menu bar item and choose View Image Palette Presentation.
For thumbnail display options, choose from the icons at the end of the Image Palette toolbar; or go to the View menu bar item and choose Image Palette Display.
First, click on an image thumbnail or to select more than one, click on the first and the last while holding the Shift key to choose all thumbnails between the two, or hold the Ctrl key to randomly select or deselect.
Delete: Hit the Delete key or right click in the Image Palette workspace and select Delete Images. Note: Deleting images from the Image Palette will also delete them from the presentation slides in which they appear.
Rotate: Click on the Image rotation options icon (tipped shaded box with arched green arrow), or right click in the Image Palette workspace and under Rotate select an option. Note: A new image will automatically be created; the original image will not be replaced but remains.
Rearrange: Select a thumbnail and drag it into position. A vertical line will appear between images to indicate the placement. To better manage, opt to enlarge the Image Palette workspace by clicking on the Maximize/restore button (single square) at the upper right side corner; click on the same button (double square) to restore it to its original size.
To print selected images, from the Image Palette workspace, select the image, or to choose more than one, click on an image thumbnail or to select more than one, click on the first and the last while holding the Shift key to choose all thumbnails between the two, or hold the Ctrl key to randomly select or deselect. Right click in the Image Palette workspace and select Print selected images.
To print all images, go to the File menu bar item and under Print select Palette images.
Note: Various layout printing options are available, some of which include the image data.
Click on an image thumbnail or to select more than one, click on the first and the last while holding the Shift key to choose all thumbnails between the two, or hold the Ctrl key to randomly select or deselect. Click on the Create slides from the selected images icon (cascading shaded squares) from the Image Palette toolbar, or right click and choose Slide Creation Wizard. Select the desired slide template.
For slides with text boxes, opt to automatically add image data by checking the Populate metadata box, choose the data fields you want to display, and opt to add their labels.
Tips: Right-click over a thumbnail from the Image Palette workspace to Edit Image Data or Show Image Data. From the Slide Editor workspace, click on the text box to edit and format as needed (a small green arrow appearing at the bottom right side corner of this box indicates that there is hidden text; to view, edit the visible text by deleting lines or by changing the font size, or simply enlarge the text box until the small green arrow disappears).
