Odesi is a Canadian social science data repository and online analysis tool. The service contains over 5,700 datasets curated by university libraries.
Odesi provides open and enhanced access to a variety of data collections such as Statistics Canada’s Data Liberation Initiative (DLI) public use microdata, historical datasets, and Canadian public opinion polls, including the Gallup Canada, IPSOS Canada, and the Canadian Opinion Research Archive (CORA).
Datasets are curated and described by staff at Canadian academic libraries using the Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) metadata standard.

E-Data from the Conference Board of Canada contains seven economic intelligence databases. Long-term economic forecasts are provided for Canada (540 indicators) and the Provinces (1500 indicators), and short-term economic forecasts provided for Canada (economic and financial by industry back as far as 1987), the Provinces, the Territories (90 indicators), 27 Metropolitan areas and the United States (both 100 indicators).
In addition, e-Data contains the quarterly Consumer Confidence and Business Confidence Indexes, as well as Population and Household Formation forecasts (back to 1975, by gender and 5-year age groups, 700 indicators). E-Data also provides valuable retrospective macro-economic "estimates", often resulting in longer historical time-series than on Cansim.

Provided through the University of Toronto's Computing in the Humanities and Social Sciences Facility (CHASS), CANSIM stands for the Canadian Socio-economic Information Management System. Provides access to current and historical data series collected in a wide variety of subjects by Statistics Canada and other governmental agencies.

Provided through the University of Toronto, the Canadian Census Analyser presents very detailed census data for most census geography including Dissemination Areas, for multiple years using the CHASS interface.

Canadian Financial Markets Research Centre (CFMRC)
The CFMRC/TSX sdatabase includes daily and monthly Toronto Stock Exchange trading information about specific securities as well as information on "price adjustments" such as dividends, stock splits, recapitalizations, etc. The database also includes daily and monthly indexes containing information on daily and monthly index levels as well as selected other financial markets information.

Ontario Ministry of Finance provides information and data, e.g. Ontario Economic Outlook and Fiscal Review; Economic updates; and Economic Data Tables

Municipal

City of Ottawa provides statistics and demographics for the municipality. Other relevant data available through the municipality's Open Data portal.

International Monetary Fund (IMF)
The IMF's primary purpose is to ensure the stability of the international monetary system—the system of exchange rates and international payments that enables countries (and their citizens) to transact with each other.

The International Social Survey Programme (ISSP) is a continuous program of cross-national collaboration running annual surveys on topics important for the social sciences. Since 1984, the Monitoring and Evaluation to Assess and Use Results Demographic and Health Surveys (MEASURE DHS) project has provided technical assistance to more than 260 surveys in over 90 countries, advancing global understanding of health and population trends in developing countries.

The STEP Skills Measurement Program
The World Bank's STEP Skills Measurement Program (STEP) is the first ever initiative to measure skills in low and middle-income countries. It provides policy-relevant data to enable a better understanding of skill requirements in the labor market, backward linkages between skills acquisition and educational achievement, personality, and social background, and forward linkages between skills acquisition and living standards, reductions in inequality and poverty, social inclusion, and economic growth. The STEP Program includes a household-based survey and an employer-based survey.
