Clinical Practice Guidelines

Clinical Practice Guidelines are systematically developed statements to assist practitioner and patient decisions about appropriate health care. Guidelines are produced by a variety of organizations and are usually freely available.

CMA Infobase: Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs)

The CMA Infobase is a public database of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines (CPGs). Maintained by the Canadian Medical Association, it currently includes over 1200 CPGs developed or endorsed by an authorative medical or health organization in Canada.

NOTE: Please be aware that access to CPG Infobase will be available until Dec. 1, 2023

Nursing Best Practice Guidelines (RNAO)

Best practice guidelines and other tooks for client care for Ontario nurses. There are currently 50 published guidelines as well as a toolkit and educator's resource to support implementation. Many of these publications are available in French, among other languages and we continue to translate materials on an ongoing basis.

Vaincre la procrastination et l’isolement avec le Cercle de rédaction

INSCRIVEZ-VOUS ! Le Cercle de rédaction, une série de séances organisées par le Centre d’aide à la rédaction des travaux universitaires (CARTU) et, la bibliothèque, vous offre un espace social et propice à l’écriture.

La série du Cercle de rédaction de l’hiver 2025 se déroulera à la salle MRT 604, toutes les deux semaines; les mercredis, du 22 janvier 2 avril.

L'objectif est de réduire l'isolement, de favoriser le réseautage et de renforcer le sentiment d'appartenance à une communauté. Les étudiantes et les étudiants pourront également apprendre la gestion du temps, la gestion du stress, l'utilisation des outils d'écriture, la recherche, les citations, et bien plus, avec le soutien des experts de la bibliothèque et du CARTU.

Overcome procrastination and isolation with the Writing Circle

REGISTER !! The Writing Circle, a series of sessions organized by the Academic Writing Help Centre (AWHC) and the Library, offers you a social space for writing.

The winter 2025 Writing Circle series will take place in MRT 604, every two weeks on Wednesdays, from January 22 to April 2.

The goal is to reduce isolation, encourage networking, and strengthen the sense of belonging to a community. Students will also be able to learn time management, stress management, the use of writing tools, research, citations, and much more, with the support of experts from the Library and AWHC.
