Indigenous curriculum at the University of Ottawa

The University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine Indigenous Program

The Indigenous Program was launched in September 2005 in response to the severe shortage of Indigenous health professionals across Canada. As a result of an agreement with the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU), 7 seats are reserved each academic year for Indigenous students aspiring to enroll in the Faculty of Medicine.
