The Library has an extensive collection of 45,000 online videos and 10,000 DVDs that supports course-related instruction and informs general cultural literacy. It includes a wide array of foreign films, documentaries, and tutorials.
Options for viewing DVDs:

- Use any of the computers on the first and third floor of Morisset Library (MRT) to view DVDs (using headphones), as they are all equipped with optical drivers and VLC players.
- If a professor believes they will be needing a DVD player in their class for the duration of the semester, they can make a request through their faculty to possibly have one installed in their classroom before the start of the semester.
- Rent an external DVD player from TLSS using this form. They can be rented at MRT 06. Faculty can also email their request to cite@uottawa.ca to make a reservation. If the professors provide a course code, there is no cost for the rental.
