Coding, also known as computer programming, involves writing specific instructions to communicate to (a computer) what you want it to do. There are numerous of coding languages, including Python, JavaScript, C++, and HTML, among others.
Learning to code can be empowering, as you are in control by communicating directly to the computer what you want it to do.
Learning code can help you acquire skills that are increasingly desirable in our digital world. In addition, it is also useful when using Digital Humanities-related tools, as many software programs involve coding to some extent.
