Online atlases
- The Atlas of CanadaSince 1906, the Atlas of Canada has offered a rich treasury of geographic information for all Canadians. Features hundreds of online maps about Canada's environment, society, economy and history.
- Canadian County Atlas Digital ProjectScanned historical maps showing landowners, townships, and counties in Ontario. Maps date from the late 19th century.
Finding atlases
All atlases are catalogued and filed like books within the GSG Centre. Atlases can be searched by author, title, subject heading or keyword in the library catalogue. Useful subject headings for finding atlases are:

The library holds most major world atlases and attempts to acquire most national atlases. Thematic and regional atlases are collected on a more selective basis. Some are also available in electronic format.
