Films on Demand - A collection of over 6,000 educational films from the U.S., both historical and current, with public broadcasting rights for Canada.

Kanopy - This resource offers more than 8,000 documentary videos with licensing for university use.

Motion Picture & Television Reading Room – A resource from the Library of Congress in the U.S. offers an index of films available to view or borrow. (Note: videos are not online).

National Film Board of Canada - Internationally known for its documentaries, has an online archive of around 1500 films, in both French and English.
