Use this guide to find films and videos at the library and online.

Software: Here's a selection of software available from the Library. Read more and request an account.

  • Video: Premiere, After Effects, Screencast-O-Matic, Animoto, VideoScribe, iMovie, WeVideo
  • Graphic: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop Pro, Thinglink
  • Audio: Audition

Multimedia Lab, MRT 1445 high-end computers for video production and graphic design (3 Mac + 2 PC). They are equipped with Adobe software, as well as importing and recording hardware.

Planning: You will save a lot of time if you have a detailed vision and plan of what you want to accomplish. Prepare a storyboard that includes the following information: visuals, texts and notes. Find examples of storyboards with Google Images.

Copyright: Fair dealing is an exception in the Copyright Act that allows you to make a copy of a small amount of work. To determine if your use of a copyright-protected work is fair, use this decision tree.
